Welcome Letter
Dear Mariner Parents & Athletes,
Welcome and get ready for the 2025 swim season! This season, we are entering with many newcomers and returning veterans. We are excited to work with this motivated group of student-athletes who we know are ready to tackle the challenges of the season head-on!
Moreau Catholic will be hosting MVAL Championships this season! This means we need 100% participation from all families. There will be planning meetings and every swimmers’ family will have to work multiple shifts at MVALs. We really appreciate your support as we can not do it without everyones’ participation.
This upcoming season we hope that all parents and guardians will help be a part of what makes this swim team so great. We want to thank all past families for their generous contributions to the Moreau Swim program, including assisting the team with expenses and food and snacks for our student-athletes. We would also like to take this moment to strongly encourage you and your family to take part in volunteering during the MCHS swim season. These volunteers are critical to have a smooth and successful season for our kids. We are in need of volunteers for many roles including, but not limited to, timers and recorders at meets as well as food and snack donations for your student-athletes during the season. There is more information on these opportunities later in the packet.
Finally, WE would like to thank you for allowing me to be a part of Moreau’s swim program! We understand the importance of these athletic experiences at Moreau. WE want to assure you that the program’s goals are to instill and embrace characteristics that will allow your students to not only be successful in the pool, but also in life after high school. We look forward to coaching this season and connecting with the Moreau swim team families!

A swimmer and parent agreement which must be signed by both the athlete and parent/guardian and returned to a Coach by February 21, 2025
